I ended up with the 39mm explorer which I sometimes feel is almost too big to my eye but looks perfect in the mirror. I've had both and prefer the 36 by a fair margin on my 7.25 inch wrist. If you go with the 36, you really have to wear for a week or so and give your brain time to adjust to the look. Once it does, at least for me, the 36 just seems absolute perfection. __________________.
